Weekly Photo Challenge: KISS

“A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous.”.”

Ingrid Bergman

KISS?

KISS?

A few weeks ago I posted what became a very popular pair of elephants for the weekly photo challenge “Love”.    This week, the challenge is “KISS”.  Again, I was reminded of these amazing creatures.  So here is yet another elephant pair.

Ever wonder how elephants kiss?  Is trading trunks something like rubbing noses?  They certainly couldn’t connect mouths with all that nose in between.  I’m thinking this is a good example of how they get around the mouth kissing issue :-)   What do you think?
