Weekly Photo Challenge – CURVES / Travel Theme – FLOW

“Live and let live, love and let love, flower and fade, and follow the natural curve, which flows on, pointless.”

D.H. Lawrence

NATURE'S CURVES
SUNLIT LANDSCAPE

My husband and I visited good friends in Asheville, NC this past weekend.  Over four days we had great food (and lots of it!), chamber-of-commerce weather, terrific hiking, fun golf and wonderful company.  On top of all that, we spent time enjoying their magnificent view.  I thought the graceful, flowing curves of the landscape presented a perfect fit for this week’s challenges.

“A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.”

Phyllis Diller

There’s something so peaceful about a mountain vista – especially in the early morning hours.  The low-lying clouds only seem to enhance the view as the sun works to clear them away.  If you click on the photo below, you can see a tiny farm in the lower left side.

Here’s to peaceful mornings shared with good friends; it doesn’t get much better than that 🙂

      • Oh, yes. I have a condo there. But my kids grew up and moved out west. I now live in northern Arizona–very wonderful. I hope to turn my condo into a vacation home. I love Virginia and the East Coast.

For some reason your posts haven’t been showing up in my reader, along with some other blogs I follow, so I’m glad I found these last two!
