The Price of Victory: Weekly Photo Challenge

“There are victories of the soul and spirit. Sometimes, even if you lose, you win. ”

Elie Weisel

“There is no flag large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent people.”

Howard Zinn

Today the world suffers in communion with the citizens of Paris. In the end we can only hope Mahatma Gandhi was right: “There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it–always.”

  1. Such an uplifting post, Tina. It is devasting to hear what happened in the world over the last day. Perplexing too, why would another person want to hate on another? In the end, love and compassion will always win.

  2. I would normally say if good people band together we can overcome. In the case of terrorists who are willing to blow themselves up in the process, it may take a new way of thinking about the problem. In the mean tie, I’m going to hope Mahatma Gandhi is right. 🙂
